Police arrest suspects in separate gold theft incidents in Iran

Police in Iran have arrested suspects involved in separate gold theft incidents in Hamidiyeh and Tehran.

In Hamidiyeh, law enforcement officials reported the arrest of two armed individuals following a series of residential burglaries targeting jewelry. A specialized task force was formed to investigate the crimes, leading to the identification and apprehension of the suspects. The victims have since identified the perpetrators, and the case has been referred to judicial authorities.

In southern Tehran, police arrested a motorcyclist accused of multiple gold chain thefts from women. Following a pursuit by officers from the 152 Khanabad station, the suspect was apprehended and the stolen goods were recovered. Several victims identified the individual at the police station, and investigations into further potential thefts are ongoing.
