Police Cadets in Italy Hold Blood and Organ Donation Awareness Sessions
In Caserta, trainees of the Polizia di Stato attended a seminar on the culture of blood donation organized by the DonatoriNati Campania association. President Tommaso Delli Paoli and national president Claudio Saltari highlighted the need for steady blood supplies during summer holidays and presented commemorative plaques to the local police chief.
In Campobasso, the Scuola Allievi Carabinieri hosted representatives from AIDO Molise for an informational meeting on organ, tissue and cell donation. Colonel Bruno Capece introduced the event, while AIDO president Graziella Vizzarri and nurse Giovanna D'Andrea explained the medical process, the importance of informed consent and the societal value of volunteering as a donor. Both initiatives underscored the link between service to the nation and the altruistic act of donation.
