Police commander detains drunk driver in Kruszwica

A police commander in Mogilno, Paweł Kazubowski, apprehended a drunk driver while off duty in Kruszwica. During a walk, Kazubowski observed a 50-year-old man driving a Mercedes on the wrong side of the road at a very low speed.

Upon the vehicle stopping in a residential parking lot, the commander intervened and detected a strong smell of alcohol. Responding officers confirmed the driver had over 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. The individual was detained and faces charges for driving under the influence, an offense that carries a potential penalty of up to three years in prison.
