Police detain driver in Croatia and suspect in Bosnia school attack
In Croatia, a 34-year-old man was arrested and sent to Bjelovar Prison after causing a traffic accident near Grubišno Polje. The individual, who was driving without a valid license, lost control of his vehicle due to excessive speed and entered a roadside ditch. Alcohol testing revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 2.56 g/kg. Due to prior offenses for similar violations, police have temporarily seized his vehicle and proposed a fine of 4,000 euros.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Municipal Court in Tuzla has ordered one month of detention for a 15-year-old girl. She is suspected of attempted murder and attempted infliction of serious bodily harm following an incident at a school in Gornja Tuzla on September 4. The girl allegedly used a knife to injure two other students in the schoolyard. Authorities are continuing investigations into the circumstances of the attack.
