Police dismantle drug lab in Pelt and conduct raids in the Netherlands

Belgian and Dutch police have dismantled an active drug laboratory in Pelt, Belgium, following an investigation led by the Public Prosecutor's Office East Brabant. The operation targeted a facility used to produce a substance specifically utilized for cutting cocaine.

During the raid on a warehouse in Pelt, authorities seized dozens of kilograms of the cutting agent. The investigation, which began after a company in Valkenswaard, Netherlands, was flagged for large chemical orders, also led to a search of a residence in Valkenswaard. Police recovered equipment used in synthetic drug production, including gas masks and a kettle.

Three men have been arrested in connection with the laboratory: a 41-year-old from Valkenswaard, a 45-year-old from Eindhoven, and a 41-year-old from Pelt. The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
