In the Netherlands, the Cargo HARC team arrested four freight handling employees at Schiphol Airport as part of an investigation into the exploitation of airport logistics for narcotics importation. In the Netherlands, additional operations led to arrests in Texel following anonymous tips, and in Pernis, customs officials apprehended two men attempting to scale a fence at a container transshipment company in the Port of Rotterdam. In Belgium, police in Lier conducted operations resulting in three arrests after observing suspected drug transactions and receiving ANPR camera alerts, leading to the seizure of cocaine, hashish, and cannabis. In September 2026, a joint Belgian and Dutch operation dismantled an active drug laboratory in Pelt, Belgium. The investigation, initiated after a company in Valkenswaard, Netherlands, was flagged for large chemical orders, led to the seizure of dozens of kilograms of a substance used for cutting cocaine.
