Police investigate death of Bambang Setiawan following DPR RI protests

Police have initiated a Model A report regarding the death of Bambang Setiawan, which occurred following demonstrations near the DPR RI building. A Model A report is a written document created by police officers who directly experience, witness, or discover a criminal event.

Kombes Iman Imanuddin of the Polda Metro Jaya Criminal Investigation Directorate stated that the proactive report is a manifestation of the state's commitment to protecting its citizens. Investigators have obtained the autopsy results from the Polri Hospital, and the victim's family has reportedly not objected to the procedure.

Authorities have also identified two suspects believed to be involved in the assault on Bambang Setiawan. The identities and physical descriptions of the suspects were determined through CCTV analysis and witness testimonies, including facial sketches prepared by experts.
