Overview

Following violent protests near the DPR/MPR RI building in late August 2026, Indonesian authorities have launched investigations into the unrest and the death of a resident, Bambang Setiawan.

Investigators have obtained autopsy results and identified two suspects believed to be involved in the assault through CCTV analysis and witness testimonies.
