Police in Piekar Śląskie seize 25 kg of illegal tobacco

Police in Piekar Śląskie seized approximately 25 kilograms of illegal tobacco lacking Polish excise markings. The contraband was discovered in a 34-year-old man's car, basement, and garage following a tip-off.

During the operation, the suspect attempted to flee from officers but was apprehended after a short pursuit. Authorities estimate that the sale of this tobacco could have resulted in a loss of approximately 30,000 PLN to the State Treasury. The individual has been charged and admitted guilt; he faces potential fines and imprisonment.
