Police in the Netherlands conduct multiple arrests and investigations

Police in the Netherlands have conducted several operations resulting in arrests and ongoing investigations across different regions.

In Den Burg, Texel, authorities arrested two men, aged 28 and 59, following anonymous tips regarding drug trafficking. During searches of two residences on the Schoudieck and Starkenburgh streets, police seized various quantities of hard and soft drugs along with cash suspected to be proceeds from drug sales.

In Pernis, customs officials arrested two men, reportedly from Albania and Czechia, after they attempted to scale a barbed-wire fence at a container transshipment company in the Port of Rotterdam. One suspect was caught after his trousers became snagged on the wire during a flight from authorities, while the second was apprehended in nearby bushes following a drone pursuit.

In Waalwijk, police are searching for two women suspected of multiple thefts at perfume shops on Stationsstraat. The incidents occurred on March 6 and April 9, with one theft resulting in losses exceeding 200 euros. Authorities have released surveillance footage to assist in identifying the suspects.
