Ostrobothnia police investigate major thefts in Bötö and Kristinestad

Police in Ostrobothnia are investigating two major thefts in the Southeast Ostrobothnia region.

In Bötö, thieves stole GPS antennas and screens from two John Deere tractors between August 6 and August 7. The stolen property is valued at tens of thousands of euros.

A second incident occurred at a construction site for a Swedish middle school in Kristinestad. Between August 6 and August 8, several thousand kilograms of electrical cables and copper pipes were stolen from containers and the building itself. The value of the stolen materials exceeds 10,000 euros.

Authorities are requesting tips from the public regarding any suspicious persons or vehicles seen in these areas during the specified times.
