Kamen police search for missing 15-year-old mother and baby
Police in Unna, Germany, have launched a public manhunt for a 15-year-old mother and her seven-month-old daughter who have been missing since August 9, 2026. The pair left a mother-child residential home in Kamen for a walk with the child's father but never returned.
Authorities suspect the teenager may have traveled to Romania, where her parents reside. However, police spokespersons stated that recent leads have been unsuccessful and the pair has not appeared at the family home in Romania.
The Witten Youth Welfare Office and the residential group leadership have assessed that there is currently no immediate evidence of a threat to the child's well-being.
