Police respond to various criminal incidents in Brazil and the United States
In Maceió, Brazil, police from the 5th Military Police Battalion arrested three men in the Benedito Bentes neighborhood. During a patrol in the Cidade Sorriso complex, officers encountered a group that attempted to flee and opened fire. While two individuals escaped into a wooded area, three were captured. Among those detained was an individual known as ‘Bochecha,’ who had an outstanding warrant for homicide. Authorities seized a firearm, ammunition, drugs, mobile phones, and a precision scale.
In Tulsa, Oklahoma, authorities are searching for a suspect described as a ‘serial defecator’ who has been targeting local businesses. Security footage shows an individual wearing a loincloth, swim cap, and face mask entering a store and spreading feces on walls and doors. The Tulsa Police Department has requested public assistance in identifying the suspect.
In New York City, investigations are ongoing regarding individuals entering the city's sewer system. While some suspects in similar incidents were previously charged with minor offenses, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has issued warnings regarding the extreme dangers of the 12,000 km sewage network, citing risks of toxic gases and unstable surfaces.
