Police search for suspect in Taboão da Serra femicide

Police in Taboão da Serra are searching for a 22-year-old man suspected of killing his 19-year-old partner, Ana Clara Soares de Oliveira, with a gunshot to the head. The incident occurred early Monday morning at a residence in Jardim Três Marias.

According to reports, the victim and the suspect were drinking with a friend when the friend left the premises. Upon returning, the friend encountered the suspect at the door, who reportedly admitted to the killing before fleeing on a motorcycle. The suspect allegedly sent messages to the victim's mother claiming responsibility and asking for help to escape.

The Public Security Secretariat has registered the case as a femicide. Investigators have seized the victim's mobile phone and conducted forensic examinations at the scene to determine the motive.
