Iranian police conduct multiple operations against theft, drugs, and illegal mining

Law enforcement agencies across various Iranian provinces have reported several successful operations targeting different types of criminal activity.

In Rey, police arrested two professional thieves specializing in the snatching of mobile phones and jewelry. In Lorestan, authorities uncovered a land-grabbing scheme valued at 90 billion rials and arrested suspects involved in theft and dangerous shooting incidents during a wedding.

In the Rasht region, police raided an illegal cryptocurrency mining operation in Kuchche Sofhan, seizing 13 mining devices worth 19 billion rials. Additionally, in Maragheh, a security operation led to the seizure of 14 kilograms of various drugs and the arrest of several drug dealers and high-risk individuals.
