Balkan police conduct multiple drug and property crime operations

Law enforcement agencies across Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Slovenia have conducted several operations targeting drug trafficking and property crimes.

In Croatia, police in Zagreb seized over 4.2 kilograms of cocaine, MDMA, and various medications, along with firearms and ammunition, leading to the arrest of two men. In Sisak-Moslavina, a 34-year-old was arrested after police discovered a cannabis plantation with 229 plants and 718 grams of dried marijuana. Additionally, in Biograd, a 42-year-old was detained for damaging a religious wooden cross and stealing religious photographs from a church.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, authorities in Doboj arrested two individuals following the discovery of a cannabis plantation containing 93 plants and 17.7 kilograms of marijuana packaged for sale. In Montenegro, a 22-year-old was apprehended in Pljevlja after attempting to flee from police; officers recovered approximately 57 grams of amphetamine.

In Slovenia, police in Ljubljana detained three suspects at Metelkova following reports of drug sales. One suspect was also investigated for attempted theft after a confrontation with security and police.
