Police seize car after driver reaches 190 km/h near Graz

A 19-year-old driver in Styria, Austria, had his license and vehicle confiscated after being caught driving at 190 km/h in an 80 km/h zone near Graz. The incident occurred on the B67 in Feldkirchen bei Graz during a police speed check near the Graz airport.

When questioned by officers from the Styria traffic department, the driver, who holds a probationary license, claimed he was attempting to ‘dry drive’ his car after washing it. The driver faces legal charges following the seizure of his vehicle and license.
