Polimill conducts generative AI training for Japanese municipalities

Polimill has conducted specialized training sessions for local government employees in Nagano City and Tatebayashi to enhance the use of its generative AI platform, QommonsAI.

In Nagano City, the training focused on basic operations and practical use cases such as drafting documents for discretionary contracts, creating handover notes for personnel transfers, and preparing responses for assembly sessions. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises including creating survey forms and greeting messages.

In Tatebayashi, the training addressed high-frequency users and focused on tasks like minute-taking and assembly support. The city reported a high adoption rate, with approximately 50 percent of employees using QommonsAI at least three times a week. The sessions emphasized the importance of refining AI prompts to improve output quality and verifying generated text for accuracy.

As of July 2026, QommonsAI is utilized by approximately 1,000 local governments and 500,000 users across Japan to support policy planning, resident services, and public relations.
