Polimill conducts QommonsAI training for Japanese local governments
Polimill has conducted training sessions for local government officials in Japan to promote the use of its administrative generative AI, ‘QommonsAI’.
In Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture, the company held an introductory training session for 111 management-level officials. The curriculum focused on utilizing AI for tasks specific to local government, such as responding to assembly proceedings and improving operational efficiency.
In Okuma, Fukushima Prefecture, a similar training session was held for approximately 60 staff members through a combination of in-person and online formats. The training included hands-on workshops where officials practiced using the AI to organize thoughts and draft documents. Discussions during the session also addressed critical operational concerns, such as information security and the boundaries of sensitive data input.
As of July 2026, QommonsAI is used by approximately 1,000 local governments and 500,000 users across Japan to support policy planning, resident services, and public relations.
