Polish adults divided on crypto safety as Gen Z favors bonds over digital assets

A recent UCE RESEARCH poll commissioned by Kanga Exchange found that 32.1% of adult Poles consider investing in cryptocurrencies safe for the average investor, while 49.9% view it as unsafe and 18% have no opinion. Experts cited regulation, market professionalisation and financial education as key to improving public perception.

A separate report by Erste TFI on Generation Z investors (ages 18‑30) shows that only 14% consider crypto investments, whereas 24% prefer bonds and 28% are willing to take on higher risk. Half of the younger cohort opts for safe investment options, motivated primarily by inflation protection and saving for a first home. The study highlights a gap in financial knowledge, with many turning to social‑media platforms for guidance.

Both reports underscore the need for clearer regulatory frameworks and broader investor education to address skepticism and promote informed decision‑making in Poland’s evolving financial market.
