Polish Army launches final ‘Wakacje z wojskiem 3’ summer training turnus

The Polish Armed Forces are opening the last round of the voluntary ‘Wakacje z wojskiem 3’ program, a 27‑day summer military training course for young adults aged 18‑35. The final turnus runs from 17 August to 12 September 2026, with earlier sessions held 8 June‑4 July and 13 July‑8 August across nearly 90 locations nationwide.

Participants receive a gross stipend of about 6 000 zł, plus accommodation, meals, uniform, medical care and insurance. The training covers basic tactics, shooting, field survival, hand‑to‑hand combat and equipment handling, and offers the chance to choose among land, armored, airborne, missile or naval units. The programme aims to provide valuable experience, foster teamwork and may serve as a pathway to the Territorial Defence Reserve or professional service in the Polish Army.
