Polish Army Offers 6,000 PLN Stipends for Summer Training Program
The Polish Armed Forces have launched the second edition of the "Wakacje z wojskiem" (Summer with the Army) program, allowing young volunteers to complete a 27‑day basic military training course. Participants receive a gross payment of about 6,000 PLN, as well as accommodation, meals, uniform, medical care and insurance. The program runs across nearly 90 locations nationwide and is open to citizens aged 18‑35, including recent high‑school graduates, students and those seeking seasonal work.
The current turn started on 13 July and will run until mid‑September, with a final training period from 17 August to 12 September. Applicants can choose units from the land forces, armored, airborne, missile or navy branches, matching their interests. The initiative aims to provide practical skills such as weapon handling, tactics, first aid, survival and teamwork, while also serving as a possible pathway to reserve service or a professional military career.
