Polish authorities investigate links to Jeffrey Epstein scandal

A special unit within Poland’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBŚP) has been investigating Polish connections to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal for six months. Following the release of millions of pages of documents by the U.S. Department of Justice, Polish authorities are examining potential links involving individuals in Poland.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk previously announced the formation of a special prosecutorial team to investigate these threads, noting reports of individuals in Kraków who allegedly informed Epstein about groups of Polish women.

Reports indicate that while police have identified several women who may have visited Epstein’s Caribbean island, these individuals have not identified themselves as victims of human trafficking or sexual exploitation. Some sources suggest the women may have traveled there voluntarily. There is reported frustration within the CBŚP, as officers feel the investigation is consuming resources that could otherwise be used to combat rising organized crime from eastern borders.
