Polish investigation into Jeffrey Epstein connections

Overview

Polish authorities have been conducting a multi-month investigation into potential connections between Polish citizens and the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Following the release of millions of pages of documents by the U.S. Department of Justice, a special unit within Poland’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBŚP) and a dedicated prosecutorial team have been examining reports that individuals in Kraków may have informed Epstein about groups of Polish women. While police have identified several women who may have visited Epstein’s Caribbean island, there are conflicting reports regarding whether these individuals were victims of exploitation or traveled voluntarily.

As the investigation has progressed, Polish and French prosecutors have begun cooperating to obtain documentation regarding Jean-Luc Brunel and his collaborators. Polish prosecutors have requested a European investigation warrant from French authorities to facilitate this process. This cooperation follows the deaths of Brunel, who died by suicide in a Paris prison in 2022, and Daniel Siad, whose body was recently discovered in a Parisian suburb.
