Polish Border Guard conducts swearing-in ceremonies for new officers

New officers have officially sworn their oaths of office within the Polish Border Guard.

In the Carpathian Border Guard Unit (KaOSG) based in Nowy Sącz, 29 new personnel—comprising 13 women and 16 men—participated in a ceremony held at the Museum of the Home Army in Kraków. This marked the first time in the unit's history that the ceremony was hosted at this location. The event was attended by Brigadier General Adam Jopek and other high-ranking officials.

Separately, the Silesian Border Guard Unit (ŚlOSG) held a swearing-in ceremony at the Piast Castle. During the proceedings, Brigadier General Andrzej Jakubaszek received the oaths from the new officers. Additionally, 28 personnel who completed non-commissioned officer training in Lubań were officially appointed to the rank of corporal.
