Polish Catholic clergy celebrate 25‑year and 30‑year service milestones

Sister Kornelia Gonciarz marked 25 years of religious life in a jubilee ceremony on 4 July at the Provincial House in Orlik, Poland. The Mass was presided over by Rev. Janusz Chyła, with the Eucharist offered by Fr. Urban Pudełko and a homily by Fr. Damian Drozdowski. Sister Gonciarz renewed her vows and received a symbolic wreath and candle.

Father Romuald Szczepaniak retired after 30 years as parish priest of the auxiliary church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Kiszków. The farewell Mass drew parishioners, local officials and community representatives. He recalled his ministry, noting 806 baptisms, 799 funerals and a €1.6 million investment in parish facilities over three decades. He thanked clergy, musicians and volunteers before concluding with a traditional farewell song.
