Polish Catholic Dioceses Celebrate Feast of the Holy Trinity

On May 31 2026 the Archdiocese of Białystok marked the Feast of the Holy Trinity, concluding the Easter Communion period with special masses, a traditional procession from the church to Chwaszczewie, and a dispensation allowing the faithful to eat meat on Friday. The celebration also included a fundraiser of cakes sold by local women’s groups, with proceeds earmarked for treatment of a resident with a malignant brain tumor.

In Kraków, the Basilica of St. Mary’s held an extensive schedule of liturgies for the same feast, including multiple early‑morning masses, a midday procession, and an evening service at 18:00. Additional events featured a May 3 evangelistic presentation titled “Jestem” led by Metropolitan Archbishop Grzegorz Rysi, and the opportunity for parishioners to purchase books, request individual intentions, and attend Gregorian masses.

Both dioceses highlighted the liturgical calendar for early June, noting upcoming commemorations of Saint Justine, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi), and daily June devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
