Polish Catholic Parishes Announce Summer Events, Clergy Jubilees and Charitable Donations

In Warsaw, the Roman Catholic Parish of the Mother of Salvation celebrated the 70‑year priesthood of Fr. Czesław Cekiera with a jubilee Mass on 21 June and thanked donors whose contributions exceeded 120 000 zł for renovations and a new organ. The parish also listed daily evening meetings of various groups, including the choir, youth and ministry teams.

In Poznań, the St. Stanislaus Kostka parish reported the appointment of Fr. Jan Cieślak to a new academic post and his replacement by Fr. Piotr Szymański. Upcoming events include a farewell Mass for students on 21 June, a men’s pilgrimage from the Saint Joseph sanctuary to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin shrine in Tulcany, a summer youth forum, and ongoing charitable fundraising for parish facilities.
