Polish Catholic communities celebrate Sacred Heart in Lesk and Poznań

Parish announcements in Lesk, Poland, indicated that the local Roman Catholic church will reduce the number of Sunday Masses from six to five due to a shortage of clergy. Volunteers from the Stowarzyszenie Rodzin Wielodzietnych will collect donations for families with children undergoing cancer treatment, and a foot pilgrimage to Jasna Góra is scheduled to begin on 4 July.

In Poznań, a traditional procession honoring the Sacred Heart of Jesus took place on 12 June 2026. The event featured a Eucharistic procession from the Jeżyc district to Adam Mickiewicz Square, concluding with a dedication of the city to the Sacred Heart by Archbishop Zbigniew Zieliński. The archbishop highlighted the love and mercy of the Sacred Heart and asked for blessings for the city's residents.
