Polish Catholic Pilgrimages in Drohiczyn and Jodłówka Draw Local Communities

The Cathedral Parish of the Holy Trinity in Drohiczyn announced a walking pilgrimage to the Jasna Góra monastery. Pilgrims will depart on 1 August after the 6:00 a.m. Mass and are expected to arrive on 13 August at 9:45 a.m. Registration takes place on 31 July, the participation fee is 230 zł, and a communal meal will be provided after the initial Mass.

On 26 July, the Sanctuary of Mother of God of Consolation in Jodłówka hosted a pilgrimage of Rural Housewives' Circles and village heads. The celebration was led by Archbishop Adam Szal, who emphasized the hierarchy of values in daily life and urged participants to combine earthly responsibilities with spiritual devotion. The event concluded with communal refreshments and fellowship among the pilgrims.
