Polish Catholic Youth Meet in Wiślica and Ożarów

The 24th diocesan youth meeting took place in Wiślica, Poland, under the theme “Nowe życie startuje tu” (“New life starts here”). The event featured a mass, testimonies, a concert by Christian rapper Anatoma, and participation from young people across the Diocese of Kielce. Bishop Jan Piotrowski highlighted the gathering as a “beautiful meeting of young people that has been held every year on the third Saturday of June.”

In Ożarów, the “Młodzi świadkowie Miłosiernego” (Young Witnesses of Mercy) gathering brought together youth from the Diocese of Sandomierz. The program included prayer, formation, a concert by rapper Edzio, and a pilgrimage of the image of Jesus Merciful. Bishop Krzysztof Nitkiewicz reminded participants, “Nie martwcie się” (“Do not worry”), urging them to be active witnesses of mercy in their communities.
