Polish cities Bydgoszcz and Wasilków launch new citizen budget rounds

The city of Bydgoszcz opened the 14th edition of its participatory budgeting program on 1 June 2026, inviting residents to submit proposals for projects funded from a 16 million‑zł budget. Proposals can cover neighbourhood, city‑wide, social or micro‑project categories, and the submission period runs until 30 June 2026.

Meanwhile, the municipality of Wasilków announced the 2027 citizen budget, also starting 1 June 2026, with a total fund of 800 thousand zł divided among city‑wide, village and green projects. Residents can submit applications online or on paper until 31 August 2026, and voting will take place from 6 to 18 October 2026.
