Polish cities push ahead with waterfront revitalisation and new skatepark

Bydgoszcz is nearing the final stage of its Brda river boulevards revitalisation. The municipality is installing natural‑material embankments, new pedestrian and cyclist paths and planting greenery, with the remaining works slated for spring.

In Suwałki, the reconstruction of the skatepark by Zalew Arkadia is almost complete. A concrete surface replaces the old one, creating separate beginner and advanced zones, professional obstacles and upgraded surroundings. The project, costing 2.78 million zł, is funded by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Podlaskie regional office.

Both initiatives illustrate local authorities’ focus on modernising public recreation infrastructure across Poland.
