Polish cities see record growth in municipal bike‑sharing programs

The Gniezno municipal bike‑sharing system logged 131,255 rides in 2025, expanding its fleet to 149 bicycles across 45 stations and registering 16,288 users. The service recorded 868 bike faults and operates with a free‑ride window of 30 minutes, after which users pay five groszy per minute.

In Wrocław, the bike‑sharing network celebrated its 15‑year anniversary, reaching 17 million rentals and over 40 million kilometres travelled since 2011. The fleet has grown from 140 to 2,804 bicycles, serving nearly 300 000 registered users and extending service to five surrounding municipalities with 220 bikes at 22 stations.
