Polish Civic Coalition Leads PiS in Latest IBRiS Poll

A new IBRiS poll commissioned by Polsat News, conducted by telephone interviews of 1,000 respondents between 29 May and 2 June 2026, shows the Civic Coalition (Koalicja Obywatelska) at 29.3 % support, ahead of Law and Justice (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość) at 23.7 %, a gap of 5.6 percentage points. The Confederation ranks third with 13.4 %, followed by the New Left at 8.1 % and the Confederation of the Polish Crown at 8 %. Parties such as the Polish People’s Party (4.2 %), Razem (2.9 %) and Poland 2050 (1.5 %) fall below the parliamentary threshold. Declared voter turnout is 64.7 %; women (66.2 %) are slightly more likely to vote than men (63.1 %). Youth aged 18‑29 show the lowest intent (47.3 %) while seniors 70+ express the highest (73.4 %). Analysts note that the poll narrows the gap between the two main blocs and raises questions about former prime minister Donald Tusk’s ability to assemble a governing majority.
