Polish coalition members criticize Tusk government performance

Members of Poland's governing coalition are expressing internal criticism regarding the administration's performance and communication strategies.

Jan Szyszko, Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy from Polska 2050, criticized the government for failing to properly promote the successes of the National Recovery Plan (KPO). He attributed this communication crisis to partisan divisions between Polska 2050, which manages the KPO, and the Civic Coalition, which handles government communication. Szyszko noted that despite these frictions, Poland expects to submit its final payment request for 54 billion PLN under the KPO by September 2026.

Separately, Adrian Zandberg, co-chair of Partia Razem, voiced disappointment with the Donald Tusk administration. Zandberg accused the government of delaying systemic reforms and failing to stand up to influential interest groups. He specifically cited the healthcare system and a lack of decisive action regarding irregularities at the Southern Hospital in Warsaw as evidence of the government's inability to implement meaningful change.
