Polish coalition members summarize governance achievements

Members of the governing coalition in Poland have held regional briefings to summarize their achievements since taking office in December 2023. Key highlights discussed include the effective utilization of funds from the National Recovery Plan (KPO) to support healthcare, transport, and electromobility, as well as maintaining low unemployment rates.

In the healthcare sector, officials emphasized the restoration of funding for the in vitro program, which has resulted in approximately 17,500 births. Other medical advancements noted include expanded prenatal testing, access to emergency contraception, HPV vaccinations, and increased investments in cardiology, oncology, and psychiatry.

Social programs were also a focal point, specifically the Senior Voucher (Bon Senioralny) designed to provide home care assistance for the elderly. Regional leaders noted that these investments and reforms are visible in local hospitals and infrastructure projects across areas such as Opole, Elbląg, and Warmia-Masuria.
