Polish Companies Face Higher Costs for Older HVAC Systems Due to F‑Gas Regulations

EU regulations on fluorinated greenhouse gases (F‑gases) are prompting Polish businesses to re‑evaluate older air‑conditioning, heat‑pump and refrigeration installations. The type of refrigerant and its Global Warming Potential (GWP) affect service costs, spare‑part availability and environmental compliance. While newer equipment increasingly uses low‑GWP refrigerants, legacy systems often contain high‑GWP substances, which may become more expensive to maintain or replace under tightening rules.

At the same time, the SAS Vesta heat‑pump model incorporates PLUM’s ecoNET remote‑control platform. Users can monitor performance, adjust settings and review operational history via computers, tablets or smartphones. Installers and service technicians also gain remote diagnostic access, reducing on‑site visits and speeding up repairs. The system supports tiered access levels, allowing end‑users limited control while granting specialists broader diagnostic capabilities.
