Polish counties invest 76 million złoty in road upgrades and new bridge

In Radomsko County, Łódź region, road authorities have allocated nearly 67 million złoty to modernise provincial roads. Projects include a full resurfacing of a 14‑km stretch of road 784, a new pedestrian sidewalk in Radomsko, a bike path along road 742 in Przedbórz, and traffic lights in Gidle. The upgrades aim to improve safety for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. The county plans an additional 39 million złoty for further road works in 2026, part of a broader programme that will total over 355 million złoty by 2029.

Meanwhile, Sierpc County in the Mazovia region received 9 million złoty from the Ministry of Infrastructure to build a new bridge and upgrade the county road 3721W in the village of Gójsk. The project will replace an old culvert with a modern, higher‑capacity bridge and improve the approach road, enhancing safety and travel comfort for local residents. County starosta Przemysław Burzyński highlighted the investment as a key step in improving regional infrastructure.
