Polish couples honored with presidential marriage medals

Multiple local communities in Poland recently honored couples for their long-term marriages with state medals awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland.

In the Somonino municipality, 19 couples were celebrated for their enduring unions. The ceremony included couples celebrating 65 years of marriage, such as Helena and Kazimierz Pyszkowie and Irena and Stefan Rolbieccy, as well as those marking 60 years and 50 years. The Mayor of Somonino, Marian Kryszewski, presented the medals and offered congratulations to the jubilants.

In Świnoujście, four couples were honored for reaching their 50th wedding anniversary. Mayor Joanna Agatowska presented the medals on behalf of the President. The honored couples included Grażyna and Wiktor Głowacz, Bożena and Lucjan Grygorcewicz, Halina and Włodzimierz Kulikowscy, and Jolanta and Teodor Maciejewscy.
