Polish Cyber Defense and Police Strengthen Cooperation
The Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime (CBZC) and the Command of the Cyber Defense Forces Component (DK WOC) have signed an indefinite agreement to enhance cooperation in cybersecurity and combat cybercrime.
The partnership focuses on three primary areas: prevention, identification, and combating online criminal activity. Under the agreement, both institutions will exchange information regarding detected threats, system vulnerabilities, and evolving cyberattack methods. They have also committed to maintaining rapid technical and operational communication channels.
To improve incident response, experts from both organizations will conduct joint analyses of digital materials, malware, and forensic data. This collaboration aims to create integrated procedures and response plans to mitigate the impact of cyber incidents. Additionally, the agreement includes long-term initiatives such as joint exercises, specialized workshops, and training programs.
