Polish Episcopate announces 26th Pope John Paul II Day

The Polish Episcopate has released a pastoral letter in preparation for the 26th Pope John Paul II Day. Under the theme ‘Saint John Paul II – disciple-missionary’, the bishops highlighted the late Pope as a prophet sent to awaken the world and called on the faithful to follow his example of personal conversion and witness.

In a related event in Hart, Archbishop Adam Szal met with primary school students to discuss the upcoming celebrations. During the meeting, the Metropolitan of Przemyśl emphasized that being a missionary is not limited to foreign missions but can be practiced through daily gestures of kindness and service to others, such as helping peers or spending time with the elderly.
