Polish FA launches PZPN+ platform ahead of new PKO Ekstraklasa season
The Polish Football Association (PZPN) announced the launch of a new digital service, PZPN+, designed to stream live matches from the top‑tier PKO Ekstraklasa and lower‑level competitions. The platform will also cover the women's Orlen Ekstraliga, which starts on 31 July, and will provide on‑demand replays and national‑team footage.
A 10 million‑złoty investment created a dedicated VAR centre to support refereeing across the leagues. PZPN officials highlighted the project as a breakthrough for Polish football, aiming to give fans a single place to follow the sport at every level.
The season opened with several notable results: Legia Warszawa defeated Pogon Szczecin 1‑0, Miedź Legnica led the table after a 2‑0 win over Piast Gliwice, and Wisła Kraków returned to the top flight with a 2‑1 victory over GKS Katowice. These matches were among the first to be available on the new platform.
