Polish firms and farms must file aid statement by 30 June 2026 to keep reduced electricity rates

Micro‑enterprises, small and medium‑size businesses and agricultural producers in Poland that benefitted from the maximum electricity price of 693 zł/MWh in the second half of 2024 must submit a “information on public aid” to their electricity supplier by 30 June 2026. The document confirms eligibility for the de‑minimis aid that allowed the preferential price. Without it, suppliers will recalculate the 2024 energy settlement at standard contract rates, resulting in additional charges that can range from a few thousand to tens of thousands of złoty per recipient.

The filing can be made online, by email, post or in person, and must be received by the supplier before the deadline. The rule does not apply to household consumers, only to the mentioned business and farm categories.
