Fuel prices in Poland expected to drop following wholesale declines

Wholesale fuel prices in Poland have seen significant declines in early August, leading analysts to predict upcoming reductions at retail gas stations. Experts from e-petrol.pl and Reflex suggest that drivers may see lower prices for gasoline and diesel between August 10 and August 16.

Specific forecasts suggest gasoline 95 could drop to between 7.21 and 7.36 PLN/l, while diesel might fall toward the 7.99–8.19 PLN/l range. LPG prices have already begun to decline, recently falling below 3 PLN/l in some instances.

The downward trend in the wholesale market follows a period of high volatility driven by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and fluctuations in Brent crude oil prices. While major refineries like Orlen and Aramco recently implemented minor wholesale price increases, they remain significantly lower than previous weeks. Analysts note that the transition from wholesale to retail prices can be delayed as station operators manage margins.
