Polish health authorities host preventive care events in Wartkowice and Olsztyn

The Łódź Regional Office of the National Health Fund (NFZ) and the municipality of Wartkowice will hold a public meeting on June 11, 2026, to promote preventive health services. The event will feature information on coordinated primary care, free mammography and colonoscopy with anesthesia, HPV testing, e‑registration for diagnostics, and dietary guidance through the NFZ’s nutrition portal.

On June 10, 2026, the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Olsztyn will open its doors for a Day of Open KPO, offering residents education on modern cancer diagnostics, heart‑related disease prevention, and first‑aid techniques. Attendees can view microscopic specimens, receive cervical cancer screening, undergo body‑composition analysis, see echo‑cardiography demonstrations, and learn to use defibrillators. Both programs are funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and aim to increase access to preventive health services for local communities.
