Polish historic venues host Chopin piano concerts

A concert featuring Yehuda Prokopowicz, a semi‑finalist of the International Chopin Piano Competition, was held in the historic Czerniejew Palace. The pianist performed works by Chopin, Mozart and Bartók before an enthusiastic audience, accompanied by a younger performer, Damian Leśniewski, and a visual exhibition by artist Marta Bzowa.

In Warsaw, the 67th season of the Chopin Concerts in Łazienki Królewskie opened on 5 July 2026. The free inauguration featured Piotr Alexewicz and Jakub Kuszlik, both award‑winning Polish pianists, and announced a summer program that will include Polish and international artists such as Leonora Armellini, Marc Laforêt and François Dumont. The series, a long‑standing cultural tradition, is supported by the city of Warsaw and includes accessibility measures for the hearing‑impaired.
