Polish local schools equipped with AI labs and digital tools

Powiat Łęczyński is installing modern equipment in its schools as part of a national investment programme. Four artificial‑intelligence laboratories, together worth 621,051 PLN (about 155,263 PLN each), will be placed in a technical school in Kijany, a technical school in Milejów, a special primary school in Podgłębokie and a high school in Łęczna. Each lab includes 15 student laptops plus a teacher laptop, a central AI processing unit, Wi‑Fi access point, UPS backup, a 75‑inch interactive monitor, HD USB cameras with microphones, and the necessary software.

Gmina Długołęka joined the EU‑funded “Leaders of Digital School Education” project under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Teachers from the local primary school received training to raise digital competencies, and the school was fitted with two interactive monitors and a desktop computer. Both initiatives are financed from the EU NextGenerationEU instrument and aim to improve digital and STEM education across Poland.
