Polish municipalities adjust waste‑collection rules in July
From July, several municipal waste‑collection points (PSZOK) in western Poland operate on new schedules. The point in Krotoszyn stays closed due to road works, while nearby sites in Zduny, Rzemiechów and Sulmierzyce have extended weekday hours and additional Saturday openings on 4 July, 11 July, 18 July and 25 July.
At the same time, the town of Andrychów introduced a requirement that any person delivering waste on behalf of a property owner must present a written authorization signed by the owner. The rule, effective 6 July, aims to stop out‑of‑municipality waste deliveries that have caused extra costs for residents. Forms are available at the town office and online.
