Polish municipalities expand and modernise selective waste collection points

The Inter‑Municipal Association “Centrum Zagospodarowania Odpadów – SELEKT” announced that from July 2026 the PSZOK in Zbąszyn will operate an additional opening day, adding Tuesday service from 14:00 to 18:00. Existing hours on Friday (11:00‑19:00) and Saturday (07:00‑15:00) remain unchanged, except on public holidays.

In Tłuszcz, works on the local PSZOK have been completed. The refurbishment enlarged the facility, added a new entrance gate and re‑organized traffic flow to ease maneuvering of trucks and larger waste loads. The upgrades are intended to make waste drop‑off safer and more convenient for residents, especially when handling bulky or seasonal items.
